There’s not much to say about me really.  Born and raised in Swindon (no jokes please!) and father of two beautiful girls.

Whilst all of my youth and education was based around music, all I ever really wanted to be involved in was football.  The truth behind the reason why I’m not is simple, I love it- but I’m not very good at it!

So with that in mind, I have spent a lot of time researching and learning about football and I would pit my wits against anyone with football knowledge- try me!

My passion for food has only really taken hold in the last 5 years or so but I’m quick to learn and hopefully you can enjoy this journey with me as I learn more about how far I can take my simple and small kitchen.

This blog is called the Terrace Baker as a bit of a nod to the old school football that I love as well as my love for food.  My main passion for cooking starting with baking, and in particular, baking bread hence the name.  However, it was soon clear that it was just cooking in general that I love, so whilst there will be baking recipes, don’t expect it to be exclusive- but do expect the recipes to be delicious!
